Terra graduated with a Bachelors in Psychology and an Associates in Criminal Justice. She immediately began working with community programs geared toward youth. She has a passion for working with high risk youth in the community. She has dedicated 14 years of developing and implementing programs geared to at risk youth aimed to reduce recidivism. Terra is a certified Gang Specialist and provider for Trauma Informed Care. As Executive Director, Terra is supportive of staff and program development. She likes to spend her free time enjoying nature and loves birds and flowers.

Kayla graduated with a Bachelors in International and Global Studies with a focus in Human Rights and a Minor in Peace and Conflict Studies. She began her career working with refugees and survivors of human trafficking before transitioning to working solely with at-risk youth. Kayla is certified in providing Trauma Informed Care. Kayla excels at scheduling and overseeing daily operations of Project X activities. Kayla spends her free time in the garden and enjoying time with family.

Angel graduated with a Bachelors of Social Work. She started her career working with children who experience mental and behavioral difficulties. Since then she has found her passion working with at-risk youth. Angel is certified in providing Trauma Informed Care. Angel is phenomenal at facilitating our evidenced based curriculum with our youth and keeps the youth engaged. She enjoys spending her free time meeting new people and learning new things.

Hatasha is a military veteran who joined forces with Project X in 2024. She has a background in public policy, civil rights activism, and nonprofit work that aims to better our local at-risk neighborhoods. Despite her love for many things, Hatasha's passion has always been to better her local community from the inside-out. She believes in a hands-on approach which has allowed to build relationships with her community that cannot be generated any other way. She hopes to bring the knowledge she has obtained through real life experience to the youth she works with, she's been there, and done that, and has bounced back to counter attack the negative stereotypes placed on our at-risk youth.

Carla Brown Ndiaye describes herself as an explorer who gains satisfaction from helping people who are living through challenging times. Carla has spent 25 years working in International Development, in senior leadership positions. She has over 17 years working as a Country Director in West Africa, where she oversaw the operation and implementation of education and youth, microfinance, health, housing, and humanitarian programs. She also oversaw a homeless prevention program in New York City. Carla has Master's Degrees in Public Health and International Affairs from Columbia University and she is bilingual.
Annie Vasquez is the Substance Use Health Educator for Forsyth County Behavioral Health Services. She also leads FROST (Forsyth County Regional Opioid and Substance Use Team), which is a team of community members who are working on a comprehensive plan to build and maintain a continuum of care for people that use drugs in the community.

As a person that is in long-term recovery, Annie feels a deep passion for helping educate folks about the truths of substance use disorder and working to prevent overdose deaths.

She has a long-time passion for helping others with experience in welcoming immigrants and refugees to the area as well as work force development. Al is a National Peer Support Specialist with a forensic enhancement, Trainer and Wrap Facilitator for North Carolina, originally from St. Louis, MO. Mr. Thomas has worked on countless forums and committees that assist individuals in improving their unwanted conditions and create the reality they desire. He is the author of two books. "The Blackout Life Plan" and "Blueprint to Wellness". Mr. Thomas teaches a 96 hour hybrid Peer Support course at Durham Technical Community College. He has used related skills of personal experience and the study of human behavior to promote self-help, self-advocacy, as well as other pertinent skills that result in long term sustainable outcomes for individuals to progress effectively with daily living. His goal is to assist detainees at detentions and the high risk populations with essential tools and resources to get acclimated back into society, in an effort to reduce recidivism. Although Al works extensively in the field, he enjoys family time and volunteering with the youth.

Tyeson Douglas, a thirty-six year old New York Native, who in his youth was heavily active in gangs, now has dedicated his life to his faith. A father of three children, Tyeson understands the importance of at-risk youth topics and seeks resolutions that will impact the community of Winston Salem for the better. As well, Tyeson is a community organizer with the greater Cleveland Congregations and an author of a published book "The Weeping Volcano", which discusses his days as a misguided gang member and conversion into a man of faith. An advocate for criminal & social justice reform, Tyeson seeks to engage impoverished communities one community at a time.
